Samsung Try Galaxy campaign by BUCK brings features to life with animation

Samsung has introduced a fresh way to show iPhone users what the Galaxy experience feels like. Working with BUCK, Cheil Worldwide, Amazing People, and artist Justyna Stasik, the company launched the “Try Galaxy” campaign. Instead of presenting a standard product demo, the project transforms features into animated stories that are playful, colorful, and easy to connect with. The idea was to make the Galaxy brand feel creative and approachable while turning a simple QR code scan into an entertaining journey.

The campaign avoids the usual comparison of specs and highlights features through short animated scenes. A giant paintbrush demonstrates Galaxy Themes, characters edit photos while skydiving, and a camper playing guitar under the night sky shows off nightography and the audio eraser. Each scene focuses on how a feature can feel in daily life rather than explaining it with technical details. This approach makes the experience relatable and memorable for anyone trying it.

The design brings Stasik’s original artwork to life with a rich mix of color and animated characters. The animations feel light and playful, drawing viewers into a world that is less about menus and more about imagination. By taking this approach, Samsung shifts attention from hardware comparisons to the emotions and creativity their devices can inspire.

Sound was another key part of the Samsung’ project. Audio partner Sonar created sound effects first, giving BUCK a rhythm to animate around. This method allowed the visuals to move with the beat, creating a smooth connection between what viewers see and hear. It also added personality to each vignette, keeping the experience fun and engaging from start to finish.

The result is a campaign that brings product features to life without feeling like an advertisement. By using humor, metaphor, and animation, Samsung made a technical showcase feel like a story. For iPhone users, it is less about switching devices and more about enjoying a creative world that reflects what the Galaxy ecosystem offers.
