Masquespacio Artisanal Tile Collection
Masquespacio, the esteemed design studio led by Ana Hernández and Christophe Penasse, is thrilled to announce their partnership with artisan Maora Ceramic in launching an enchanting new ceramic collection. Entitled the “Maora Collection,” this collaboration showcases a harmonious fusion of nature-inspired designs and masterful craftsmanship.
The collection, curated by Masquespacio, begins with the creation of a striking artwork comprised of 26 individual ceramic pieces, each exhibiting contrasting colors and forms. Embracing a design ethos of uninhibited creativity, Ana Hernández crafted this artwork without tethering it to any specific inspiration, allowing her subconscious to guide the process. This resulting composition, intended initially as wall art, seamlessly transitions into versatile flooring or wall covering options.
Following suit, the collection’s second offering employs the same liberating design approach. Reimagining the traditional 20 x 20 cm tile format, Masquespacio introduces six organic lines that weave together to form a mesmerizing pattern. Suitable for adorning walls, floors, tables, and pots, these tiles epitomize boundless design possibilities.
In a supplementary exploration of this subconscious methodology on a smaller scale, the collection also features petite flower pots. This endeavor not only showcases intricate engravings but also highlights the inherent beauty of the objects themselves.
The collaboration between Maora Ceramic and Masquespacio is deeply rooted in a longstanding partnership nurtured through their involvement in various interior design projects. Thus, the Maora Collection stands as a testament to the enduring bond between Maora Ceramic’s founder, Amparo, and Masquespacio’s creative director, Ana.
The Maora Collection will be exclusively available through Masquespacio, offering discerning clientele access to bespoke ceramics that seamlessly blend artistry with functionality.
