Anony introduces Pola lighting collection shaped as a perfect half circle
The Pola Collection by Anony introduces a refined approach to contemporary lighting design, emphasizing clean geometry, material quality, and atmospheric presence. Designed by Christian Lo, the series takes inspiration from the visual rhythm of long corridors and arched passages, where light interacts with architecture in both subtle and deliberate ways.
The defining form of the collection, a perfect half-circle, highlights balance and proportion while creating a sculptural element that functions beyond illumination. Each piece speaks to a broader design philosophy rooted in simplicity, functionality, and emotional resonance.

The collection consists of a versatile range of fixtures, including a wall sconce, a floor lamp, a table lamp, a single pendant, and a multi-pendant configuration. This variety allows the system to be integrated across different settings, from residential interiors to commercial environments.
Each fixture shares a cohesive language, where soft diffusion contrasts with structured aluminum frames. The result is a visual dialogue between solidity and lightness, an effect that feels intentional without being overstated.

Material selection plays a central role in the overall effect. Each fixture is crafted from aluminum, available in brushed finishes such as aluminum, brass, and champagne, as well as matte black and matte white. These finishes not only ensure durability but also give users the flexibility to match their lighting to diverse interior palettes.
The brushed variations emphasize texture and tactility, while matte options create a quiet presence that integrates seamlessly with its surroundings. Regardless of finish, the design remains timeless, avoiding trends in favor of a longer product lifecycle.

The lighting performance of the Pola Collection reflects careful consideration of user experience. Smooth diffusion across the arc provides consistent brightness without glare, while the open structure encourages interaction between light and its environment.
This quality of illumination supports both ambient and accent applications, allowing the fixtures to enhance mood as well as provide functionality. Christian Lo’s reference to tunnel-like spaces underlines the importance of controlled, directional light, a feature that translates well into everyday interiors where atmosphere is as crucial as utility.

Anony, founded in 2015, continues to establish itself as a design studio committed to technological advancement and sustainable practice. Each product is designed with minimal manufacturing processes and efficient use of materials, aiming to reduce environmental impact without sacrificing quality.
At the same time, the studio prioritizes the human response to objects, recognizing the emotional connection people form with well-designed tools and furnishings. This balance of engineering and sensitivity characterizes Anony’s portfolio, positioning the brand as both contemporary and enduring.
