Francesco Vullo solo exhibition hosted at Momento Sunnei 05 in Milan
SUNNEI continues to expand its role as a cultural catalyst in Milan with MOMENTO SUNNEI, a recurring program that transforms its flagship Store-Café-Gallery into a living stage for creativity. Once a month, members of the SUNNEI community gather at Via Privata Pietro Cironi 15, welcomed into an environment that shifts with each edition.
Guests only learn upon arrival which corner of the headquarters will serve as the backdrop, reinforcing a sense of anticipation and collective curiosity. These encounters transcend traditional retail, shaping the space into a hub where dialogue, art, and shared experience take center stage.

For the fifth edition of MOMENTO SUNNEI, the spotlight turned to Francesco Vullo, a Milan-based artist whose practice resonates with the brand’s dedication to supporting emerging voices. Vullo’s solo exhibition brought forward a body of work that reflected his ongoing investigation into the paradoxes of contemporary existence.
By reworking everyday materials into installations and sculptures, he reshaped discarded fragments of modern life into narratives that are both intimate and universal. His approach transformed the familiar into something layered with symbolism, inviting reflection on human behavior and the fragile balance between nature and industrial culture.

Born in Palermo in 1994, Vullo trained in illustration and animation at the European Institute of Design in Milan before expanding into the plastic arts. His trajectory demonstrates an ability to move fluidly across disciplines, evolving from illustration into sculpture and installation without abandoning a strong narrative sensibility.
His practice consistently emphasizes the tension between permanence and transience, often using natural objects or repurposed industrial materials to articulate how memory, environment, and cultural constructs influence the way societies live and perceive reality.

MOMENTO SUNNEI functions not just as an event but as a statement of intent, signaling the brand’s interest in nurturing connections that extend beyond fashion. The presence of Vullo’s work within the Gallery space situated art at the heart of communal interaction, allowing guests to share time together while engaging with questions that surpass aesthetics.
In this framework, the café also played a central role, curating a selection that resonated with the theme of the evening, reinforcing SUNNEI’s integrated vision where design, gastronomy, and artistic thought intersect within a single venue.
