About Job
Bit Reactor is looking for an Art Outsourcing Manager to help us chart our course through hyperspace. As a Manager, you will participate in creating and executing the aim for our game, from idea through post-production. You’ll assist with the team and art leads to help deliver a world-class player experience that will revolutionize strategy games through the lens of the Star Wars universe.
Skills & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Upload and integrate assets into the engine and maintain pipelines/naming conventions
- First line of criticism for aesthetics and naming conventions
- Planning, schedule and budget management
- Work directly with suppliers and help identify potential partners
- Preparation of documentation for EA and Lucas submissions
- Collaborate with internal team and external partners to establish milestone schedules and deliverable requirements
- Work with production to manage and track tasks to ensure accurate milestone deliveries
- Create and maintain documentation of outsourcing pipelines
- Preparation of assignments for external teams
- Review deliverables for quality and accuracy and provide appropriate feedback
- Export assets into the game engine to examine them in context
- Work with art directors to collect and provide constructive criticism
- Revise and adjust content as needed to achieve the best possible quality
- Proactively communicate planning issues and develop creative solutions with stakeholders
- Contribute to and foster a positive, collaborative and creative studio culture
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a producer or outsource manager
- At least one AAA game delivered on console or PC
- Able to work with the team to prioritize and achieve reliable schedules
- Knowledge of contemporary art production pipelines and contemporary software packages
- Expertise in common production practices and methodologies
- Highly and excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Able to navigate the unknown and creatively solve problems that solve challenges
- Experience working with Unreal Engine

Understanding level of work with external IP partners
